Claude E. was born in 1870 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.1 Claude E.'s father was John W. Fisher and his mother was Louisa Jett. His paternal grandparents were James Howard Fisher and Sarah Jane Howard; his maternal grandparents were William Jett and Rachel Howard. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Darwin E., John R., Fred H., Cora, Sarah Anna and Mary Lou Or Mollie. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
