James Fiennes 
James was born about 1413 in of, Herstmonceaux, Sussex, England.1 James' father was Roger FIENNES OR FYNES and his mother was Elizabeth HOLLAND. His paternal grandparents were William FIENNES (FYNES) and Elizabeth BATTISFORD; his maternal grandfather was John HOLLAND. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, Richard and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died on June 4th, 1450.1 General Notes
