William Eaton 
William was born in 1720 in ,Prince George, Virginia.1 William's father was William Eaton and his mother was Mary Rives. His paternal grandfather was John Eaton; his maternal grandfather was George Rives. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Charles Rust, Jane, Sarah, Ann, Mary Elizabeth and Martha. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 in 1789 in Northampton County, N.C..1
