Samuel A. Dyer 
Samuel A. was born in 1831 in Of, Greene, Tennessee.1 Samuel A.'s father was Abraham Dyer and his mother was Docia Coatney. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Dyer and Ruth; his maternal grandfather was George Coatney. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John S., George Washington, Abraham, William S., Solomon M., Stephen C., Ruth, I. Elisa and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 34 on April 27th, 1865.1
