Catherine was born on February 22nd, 1804 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1   Catherine's father was Jacob Droke and her mother was Catherine Faust.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Droke and Magdalena Shyra. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John, David, James, William, Job K., Isaac E., Mary, Rebecca, Eleanor, Eliza Jane and Sarah F..  She died at the age of 88 in 1892 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1
