James Davis 
James was born in 1845 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 James' father was Thomas Davis and his mother was Nancy. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Davis and Amelia Or Milly Johnson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Wiley, William, Andrew, John, Daniel, Hannah and Susan. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
