Arthur Davis

Arthur was born in 1823 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Arthur's father was Hezekiah Davis and his mother was Katherine Stipe. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Davis and Amelia Or Milly Johnson; his maternal grandparents were George Stipe and Catherine. He had four brothers and a sister, named Pleasant, Hezekiah, Harvey, Jefferson and Katherine. He was the oldest of the six children.
