Allen Current

Allen was born in September 1880 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹ Allen's father was Thomas S. Current and his mother was Angeline S. Smith. His paternal grandparents were Eli Current and Sarah Blackburn; his maternal grandparents were Lee C. Smith and Eliza Ann Houston. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Franklin, Oscar, Eli, Anna and Melvina. He was the youngest of the six children.
