Manila Cope

Manila was born in 1845 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Manila's father was John W. Cope and her mother was Nancy Or Cora Frost. Her maternal grandfather was William Frost. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, George, Robert R., Charles D., Mary E., Sela Jane and Jane. She was the oldest of the eight children.
