Madison Cope 
Madison was born in 1836 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Madison's father was William Cope and his mother was Margaret Baker. His paternal grandparents were William Cope and Nancy. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Marshall, Harrison, Elbert, Larkin, Jesse, Orpha, Martha and Nancy. He was the oldest of the nine children.
