Lafayette Chaney

Lafayette was born in 1868 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Lafayette's father was N. Jefferson Chaney and his mother was Malinda Jane Bondurant. His maternal grandparents were John William Bondurant and Esther Flannigan. He had a brother and a sister, named John H. and Effie. He was the second oldest of the three children.
