Daniel was born in 1778 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1   Daniel's father was Mark Chambers and his mother was Elizabeth Criner.  His maternal grandfather was James Criner. He had a brother named David.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 75 in 1853 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1
