Saphronia Cato 
Saphronia was born in 1844 in Tennessee.1 Saphronia's father was Robert Cato and her mother was Martha Jane Wells. Her paternal grandparents were Roland Cato and Nancy Vincent. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Edmund, Henry, Robert Wells, Jefferson Davis, William Hamlin, Martha, Julia, Fannie and Sara. She was the oldest of the ten children.-
