John Casey 
John was born in 1841 in Missouri.1 John's father was Daniel Casey and his mother was Elisa Noel. His paternal grandparents were John Casey and Joanna Daugherty; his maternal grandparents were Reuben Nowell and "Polly" Zumwalt. He had six brothers and four sisters, named J., Reuben D., Peter, E. H., Patrick, L. A., May, Ellen, Francis and Catherine. He was the oldest of the eleven children.
