Daniel Augustus Casey

Daniel Augustus was born on December 25th, 1874 in Richwoods, Washington, Missouri.¹   Daniel Augustus' father was Francis Casey and his mother was Julia Alexandrine LaPee.  His maternal grandparents were Augustus LaPee and Leonora Charboneau. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Lawrence, Patrick Ignatius, Clara A., Mary Frances, Catherine Elenora, Anna Gertrude, Lucy Esther and Estella.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
