William Preston Byington

William Preston was born about 1826 in ,Henry, Virginia.¹   William Preston's father was Moses Byington and his mother was Cynthia Cheely.  His paternal grandparents were John Byington and Mary Abbott. He had a brother and two sisters, named Alford Rhoton, Sarah H. and Amanda Maryland.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers named Hezekiah Karr and Isaac.
