Jesse Buttry

Jesse was born in 1857 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Jesse's father was James Buttry and his mother was Jane Ausburn.  His paternal grandparents were William Buttry and Levisa King. He had four brothers and two sisters, named David C., George, Jacob, Tipton, Levisa and Nancy.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 97 on May 20th, 1954 in ,Hancock, Tennessee.¹
