Sarah Brown 
Sarah was born on April 20th, 1820 in Butler OH.1 Sarah's father was Daniel Brown and her mother was Tacey (Lacey or Tacy) Kimbel. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Lucius Kimbel, William Kimbel, Daniel Huff, Joseph Coin, Susanna, Mary Kimbel and Anne. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 35 on May 28th, 1855.1 General Notes

Best guess at present is that Virgil was born out of wedlock.
Sarah attempted to raise him alone until she died. The court
appointed Cyrus Barlow as Governer (Guardian) of Virgil (age 10)
when his mother dies.
