Peter Brown 
Peter was born in 1839 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Peter's father was George Brown and his mother was Pulchera Smith. His paternal grandfather was George Brown; his maternal grandparents were Samuel B. Smith and Judith Grigsby. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joseph, George, Richard Johnson, Nancy, Dijuda Or Judith, Martha M., Emaline, Ellen, Lucy and Canberry Or Canossa. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.-
