John Brown

John was born about 1700 in ,Isle Of Wight, VA.¹   John's father was William Brown and his mother was Martha Gray.  His paternal grandparents were John Browne and Mary Boddie; his maternal grandfather was Richard Gray. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Jacob, Martha, Mary, Sarah and Ann.  He died in 1750 in ,Bertie, NC.¹
