Johann Philip Brentz 
Johann Philip was born in 1709 in Germany.1 Johann Philip's father was Johann Heinrich Brentz and his mother was Anna Elizabeth Egenlauf. His paternal grandparents were Hans Melchoir Brentz and Anna Dorothy Wolffhart; his maternal grandparents were Hans Conradt Egenlauf and Elizabeth Lemburger. He was an only child. He died at the age of 85 in 1794 in Shenandoah County, Virginia.1
