John Boone 
John was born in England.1 John's father was George Boone and his mother was Mary Maugridge. His paternal grandparents were George Boone and Sarah Uppey; his maternal grandparents were John Maugridge and Mary Milton. He had six brothers and two sisters, named George, Squire, Joseph, Benjamin, James, Samuel, Mary and Sarah. He died in October 1785 in Exeter, Pennsylvania.1 General Notes

deaths and passed them on to his nephew James (son of James and Mary) who
compiled them into the genealogy which has been so important to Boone
history.
