Jesse was born in 1848 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Jesse's father was Isaac Bloomer and his mother was Nancy. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Christian, John, Sterling, William, Melvin, Susan, Elizabeth, Catherine, Annis and Louisa.
