Moses Bishop 
Moses was born in 1812 in NC.1 Moses' father was William Bishop and his mother was Ascension Merritt. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Merritt and Phebe. He had two brothers named Joseph John and William. He was the second oldest of the three children.
