Isabel was born about 1433 in Northamptonshire, England.1 Isabel's father was Thomas Billing and her mother was Catherine Giffard. Her paternal grandfather was John Billing; her maternal grandparents were Roger Giffard and Elizabeth Seyton. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Roger, William, Nicholas, Katherine, Margaret and Billings. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
