James Beck

James was born about 1709 in Kent County, Maryland.¹   James' father was John Beck and his mother was Sophia King.  His paternal grandfather was Beck; his maternal grandparents were John King and Juliana Thomas. He had two brothers named Samuel and John King. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Edward, Matthew, William, John, Mary and Rebecca.
