William Barton 
William was born about 1832 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.1 William's father was Abraham Or Abram Barton and his mother was Catharine Cumbers. His paternal grandfather was Joshua Barton. He had a brother and four sisters, named Joshua, Emaline, Nancy C., Susan and Mary. He was the oldest of the six children.
