Jacob Alexander Barr

Jacob Alexander was born in 1832 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Jacob Alexander's father was George Barr and his mother was Elizabeth Hawk. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William M., James E., George B., Thomas A., Andrew H., Elizabeth, Margaret J. and Eliza B..  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 59 in 1891.¹
