John Thomas Barger

John Thomas was born on June 25th, 1870 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   John Thomas' father was George Washington Barger and his mother was Amanda Roller.  His paternal grandparents were John Barger and Anna Hickman; his maternal grandparents were George Roller and Elizabeth Hughes. He had six brothers named George James, Jacob W., William D., Samuel E., David A. and Charles H..  He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard Lee and Cordia.  He died at the age of 74 on February 13th, 1945.¹
