Walter James BURGESS

Walter James was born on December 16th, 1879 in Dyemound, Montague, Tx.¹ Walter James' father was William Burgess and his mother was Missouri Elizabeth PARR. His paternal grandparents were Edward BURGESS and Elenor Isgrigg; his maternal grandparents were Presley Osborn PARR and Elizabeth SAPPINGTON. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Henry Luther, Eddie Presley, Henry Luther, Floyd William, Earl Alton, Franklin Davie, Loyd Ephraim, Addey E. Dollie, Ethel May, Maudie Evelyn and Maudie Evenly. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Mark Edward, Amy, Ellen and Susannah. He died at the age of 50 on July 28th, 1930 in San Benito, Cameron, Tx. He was buried in San Benito, Cameron, Tx.¹¹
