Jacob Arnott 
Jacob was born in 1798 in ,Monroe, West Virginia.1 Jacob's father was William Minnis Arnott and his mother was Susannah Bowyer. His paternal grandparents were John Arnott and Isabel; his maternal grandparents were Adam Bowyer and Christine Louderback. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Adam Bowyer, Andrew B., William M., Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances and Susannah. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
