William Armstrong

William was born on March 10th, 1757 in Augusta, Virginia, Virginia.¹ William's father was William Armstrong and his mother was Mary Caldwell. His paternal grandparents were James Armstrong and Jane; his maternal grandparents were John Caldwell and Martha Campbell. He had a brother and five sisters, named James, Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Mary, Annis and Jenny. He died at the age of 78 in 1835 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹
