James Armstrong

James was born in 1825 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   James' father was John Armstrong.  His paternal grandfather was Armstrong. He had five sisters named Priscilla, Jane V., Elizabeth, Sarah A. and Minerva.  He was the second youngest of the six children.  James is no longer alive.
