Bertha Malinda Martinson

Bertha Malinda was born in 1881 in Iowa Co., IA.  Bertha Malinda's father was Knud W. Martinson and her mother was Ellen Larson.  Her paternal grandparents were Martin Martinson and Annie Peterson; her maternal grandparents were Elling Larson and Berta Thostenson. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Martin Knud, Edwin, Carl Elmer, Leonard Theodore, Frank Wilmer, Anna Mathilda, Alma Charlotte and Edvena Bertina.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 71 in 1952 in Iowa Co., IA.  She was buried in 1952 in Iowa Co., IA.
