John Lefever 
John was born on January 17th, 1786 in Cumberland Co., PA. John's father was George Lefever and his mother was Anna Barbara Slaymaker. His paternal grandparents were Philiip LeFevre and Maria Herr; his maternal grandparents were Lawrence Slaymaker and Eva Elizabeth Eckman. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Lawrence, Isaac, Daniel, Jacob, George, Adam, Peter, Samuel, Elizabeth, Anna Elisabeta, Mary and Anna Barbara. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 63 on March 29th, 1849 in Pennsylvania.General Notes
