John Lewis Hemminger

John Lewis was born on March 23rd, 1886. John Lewis' father was David Wesley Hemminger and his mother was Clara Ellen Freeze. His maternal grandparents were John William Freeze and Amanda Grove. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Berchard D., Everett Charles, Ralph Burton, Alma Orpha and Minnie Myrtle. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on February 27th, 1964 in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA.
