Ida May was born on June 7th, 1873 in Marengo, Iowa Co., IA. Ida May's father was James L. Farley and her mother was Flora Bell Wood. Her paternal grandfather was John Farley; her maternal grandparents were Jehial Wood and Mary Ferren. She had two brothers and a sister, named Marcus Gray, John Gehial and Estella Prudence. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 56 on August 7th, 1929 in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA. She was buried in 1929 in I.O.O.F Cemetery, Marengo, IA.1 General Notes
