Mary Brooke 
Mary was born on February 19th, 1630 in Battel, England. Mary's father was Robert Brooke and her mother was Mary Baker. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Brooke and Susan Forster; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Baker and Mary Engham. She had two brothers and a sister, named Baker, Thomas and Barbara. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had eight half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Charles, Roger, Robert, John, William, Francis, Basil, Henry, Mary, Ann and Elizabeth. "Mary Brooke, eldest daughter of Robert Brooke and Mary, his wife, was
born 1630, at Battel, the 19th day of February, being Saturday, between 2
and 3 of the clock in the afternoon, the moon being new the next day, and
was baptized the Sunday following, her Godfather Mr. Thomas Foster, of
Battel, and her Godmothers her Grandmother Baker and her cousin Heath."
