Demcy was born in 1760 in North Carolina. Demcy's father was Abraham Odom and his mother was Sebell UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Odom and Susannah UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, George, John and Noel. He died at the age of 67 in 1827.General Notes
