Sidney was born about 1924 in NC.  Sidney's father was Lamar A Morrison and his mother was Ada Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Morrison and Ruthie Powell. He had three brothers and a sister, named Burnette, Hezikiahm, Burton and Ruby B.  He was the second youngest of the five children.
