Angus B. was born in 1737 in Isle of Skye, Scotland.  Angus B.'s father was Finlay McCaskill and his mother was N N.  His paternal grandfather was Angus Alexander McCaskill. He had nine brothers named Allen, Finlay, Malcolm, Danial, Christian, Huntley, Mordoch, Kenneth and John.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 70 on June 3rd, 1807 in Moore County, NC.
