Thrasamund was born in 0470. Thrasamund's father was Gelimir "Genzo" of the Vandals and his mother was Galla Placidia. His paternal grandfather was Flavius Julius Constantius II Holy Roman Empire, Emporer. He was an only child. He died at the age of 53 in 0523.
