Richard Fitzgilbert 1st Earl of Clare

Richard was born in 1030.  Richard's father was Gilbert Count of Eu & Brionne and his mother was Gunnora D'Anjou.  His paternal grandparents were Godfrey Bastard and Hawis Heloise De' Guisnes; his maternal grandparents were Fulk D'Anjou and Beatrice De Goz.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 60 in 1090.
