James Roland Beal

James Roland was born on November 4th, 1902 in Cedar Creek, NC.  James Roland's father was Walter Raleigh Beal and his mother was Salome Jackson.  His paternal grandparents were William F  Beal and Julia Catherine Culbreth; his maternal grandfather was Buck Jackson. He had a brother and four sisters, named Talmage, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Margaret E and Mary E. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Eddie G, Hattie M and Annie M.  He died at the age of 69 on January 13th, 1972 in Southport, NC.
