Gunselin (Gunselm) was born in 1232 in Chilham Castle Kent. Gunselin (Gunselm)'s father was Giles de Baddlesmere and his mother was Margaret Leveland. His paternal grandfather was William de Baddlesmere. He was an only child. He died at the age of 69 in 1301.
