William III Thompson 
William III was born in 1660 in Westmoreland Co VA. William III's father was William II Thompson and his mother was Catherine Treat. His paternal grandparents were William I Rev. Thompson and Abigail Collins; his maternal grandparents were Richard Treat and Alice Gaylord. He was an only child. He died at the age of 91 on December 28th, 1751 in Surry Co VA.General Notes
