Abraham Pruitt 
Abraham was born in 1763 in Yadkin Rowan Co NC. Abraham's father was William Sr Pruitt and his mother was Mary Martin. His paternal grandparents were James Pruitt and Mary Ross; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Martin and Mary Knight. He was an only child. He died at the age of 30 in 1793 in Died High Wassal River E TN Indian war.General Notes
After Abraham's death his wife Margaret Ann White married his twin brother Isaac. She had three children with Abraham and 4 children with Issac. He was killed in the Indian Wars in E Tn. In 1793 he was one of the advance s pies in crossing the Hiwassee River in Sevier's Campaign against the Cherokee. As he ascended the bank he was shot plumb in the forehead as he raised his head above the bank. He asked his brother,Isaac, to marry his widow and raise his children should he be killed, and this Isaac did.
