James Phillips 
James was born on April 20th, 1795 in Rowan Co NC. James' father was Elijah Phillips and his mother was Mary Malone. His paternal grandfather was Ezekiel Phillips; his maternal grandfather was Jeremiah Malone. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ezekiel Thomas, Malon, Margaret, Mary Polly, Phebe and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died in Franklin TN.General Notes
