John Nicholson

John's father was James Nicholson and his mother was Janet Swinton.  His paternal grandfather was David Nicholson  Vicar of Maryculter Sheriff; his maternal grandfather was John Swinton    of that Ilk.  He was an only child.  He died in 1605.
