Alexander was born in 1526 in Maidstone Kent England.  Alexander's father was John Grigsby and his mother was Margaret Sharp.  His maternal grandparents were Alexander Sharp and JoAnna Brode. He had a brother and four sisters, named Justinian, Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 49 on April 12th, 1575 in Loose Kent  England.
